STEM workshop on ARDUINO Programming conducted for School Students- 36 students participated in this 3 months workshop event - Day 9 Otto Bot is a programmable, open-source Robot designed can perform various actions like walking, dancing, and obstacle avoidance is designed and constructed by students. It's an engaging tool for introducing robotics and coding to students. It consists of 1.Arduino Nano board 2. Arduino Nano Shield 3. Servo motors 4. Ultrasonic sensor 5. Battery

One-day workshop on Astronomy and Astrophysics for college students was organised at Regional Science Centre,Coimbatore on 04.07.2024. This workshop aimed to introduce participants to the fascinating world of astronomy. Prof.K.Sakthivel , Former Professor of Physics, PSG College of Technology and R.Rameshan, Retired Headmaster with extensive experience in astronomy handled the sessions. The hands-on session focused on observing sunspots through telescopes equipped with solar filters. Participants had the opportunity to observe sunspots in real-time, noting their patterns and movements. 79 students from various colleges attended this workshop. Certificates of participation were distributed to all attendees, acknowledging their involvement in the program.
