A new Innovation Hub was inaugurated in the Pilikula Regional Science Centre, Mangaluru , Karnataka on March 7, 2024 by Shri Sajoo Bhaskaran, Director, Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, Bengaluru in the august presence of Dr. K. V. Rao, Director, Pilikula Regional Science Centre, Mangaluru to encourage innovations from the students of Pilikula.

Manaskhand Science Centre, Almora along with Innovation Hub, the First Science Centre in Kumaun, Uttarakhand developed by NCSM was virtually inaugurated by Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand in the august presence of Shri Ajay Bhatt, Hon’ble Minister of State for Defence and Tourism, Govt. of India and other dignitaries on 10th March, 2024.

Members of the Hub in teams, secured both 1st and 3rd Prizes in the ‘Robo Race’ competition during the National Level Techfest Vadhanam 2023 from 20th to 21st October, 2023 held at Dr. S. & S. S. Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology, Surat. Members designed the robot and created a wireless mobile-operated WIFI robotic car using various sensors, motors and controllers and participated in the event.
